Phonon-Xine forces the use of XCB, so if the video output doesn't support XCB,
it can't be used.

I would suggest fixing Xv in your X.org configuration, or filing a feature
request with Xine for XCB support in XSHM.

But non-XCB video output is not going to happen in Phonon-Xine, unfortunately.
