Summary: No root button in KDM configuration tool included with
                    systemsettings )KDE4.2.2)
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mandriva RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: ewilcox at bex.net

Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Non of the Administrative configuration utilities included with systemsettings
provide a means for switching to root authority. Under KDE3, the utilities
included with Kcontrole such as the KDM configuration utility provided a button
which could be pressed to get a dialogue to enter the root password so the
utility could be executed with root authority (e.g.: the user was able to edit
the KDM configuration as root). I think this behaviour should be restored in
KDE4
