Confirming bug still exists in KDE 4.1.3.  As with the original reporter, the
tooltips are persistent across virtual desktops, always remain above other
windows, and seem to be cut off at the top.  Getting them to disappear is more
an art than a science; apart from logging out and back in again, sometimes
triggering the exact same tooltip to display will get rid of the old copy.
