The same problem exists with Canon A570 IS, 

I get the error:

 'Camera configuraton error'

 In 'Details' I got 'Bad parameters'


Basically there is no possiblity to use camera at all using KDE tools
(doplphin, digikam etc..). Only gtkam let me live with this now. 

I hope that will be fixed soon.
