Thank you for filing this bug report. However, this is 99% not a kde bug.
Especially if you say the problem exists also in firefox. The problem could be
anything... bug in xorg, bug in a xorg driver, bug in the linux kernel...

Please ask for support in a user forum or some other user support place and if
you finally find that this is caused by some kde setting, then reopen this
report with some more information.
