Summary: attempting to add a feature to wishlist, bug reporter
cuts me off because of my Debian stable version of
                    koffice
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: dianemittnik gmail com

Version: (using KDE 4.0.2KDE 1.2)
Installed from: I Don't KnowDebian stable Packages
OS: Linux

While using the kde bug reporter, the wizard asks for my version of koffice (the main application I think my wishlist item should point to), but upon entering my version (debian stable, 1.1.6) of koffice, I'm prevented from proceeding, the wizard instead bringing me to a page telling me my version of koffice is too old and to upgrade. This is regardless of the fact that I've searched the bug/feature request lists and have seen koffice in use on other systems (testing, unstable, suse, fedora, etc) and know that my feature request is not presently available. So now I have to lie, so I'm going to say I have the latest version, submit my feature request, and let you sort out which version(s) if any it applies to (all actually), and also let you figure out why an end user can't request a feature if they know it is not available in any version, regardless of the version they are running no matter how old.
