I am ripping CDs with KAudiocreator.

I rip the first CD. When it is done I eject the CD with the button on the tray.

I put in the second CD and rip that.

I press the button on the tray and the tray will not open. I get a message 'The device was successfulyy umounted but the drawer cannot be opened'

Please note that I am not mounting the CDs at all. KDE is configured to 'Do nothing' for audioCds

To eject the CD I have to either

su to root and issue eject /dev/hda

or

killall kio_audiocd
