I tried it again on a new test database (Linux Mint Package on
VirtualBox Windows)<br>
It was an APPEND.<br>
<br>
This time I tried it without importing all the fields, just a few.
(Table used "|", for end of record "~")<br>
Album, Artist, Genre, Label, Purchase Price, Track<br>
<br>
It worked fine.<br>
<br>
This is the amount of fields I transferred before:<br>
"Album", "Artist", "Composers", "Release Year", "Length", "Genre",
"Categorized", "Label", "No of Tracks", "ID", "Cat Number",
"Chorus", "Condition", "Conductor", "Country", "Cover Back", "Cover
Front", "Cover", "Set#", "of Set", "Extras", "Format", "Musicians",
"Notes", "Orchestra", "Original Release Date", "Original Release
Year", "Packaging", "Purchase Price", "Producer", "Release Date",
"Sound", "Studio", "Barcode", "Track Entries"<br>
<br>
Unfortunately, I don't have time to try the full import, because it
takes awhile to make and match all the fields.<br>

<div>I've been poking at the default fields and how they might
restrict importing or become inconsistent with additional
columns in the table. So far I haven't seen a bug like you
describe. Could you possibly give me more detailed steps to
reproduce it? Something like</div>
<div>1. Existing Tellico collection - add additional columns
to the Tracks field</div>
<div>2. CSV file to import, with data in those additional
columns</div>
<div>3. Import CSV file - appending or merging?</div>
<div>4. Data appears good, but after saving and re-opening,
the imported data is missing?</div>
<div><br>
