<div dir="ltr">I built taglib v1.12 using cmake and mingw in release mode and run tagreader example. It takes about 45 seconds to read tags of 1464 mp3 files which are about 5 GB.<br>I have those file <span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:rgb(36,41,46);background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">on a HDD, windows 10, 16G RAM, with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz processor.<br>When I open that folder containing those files, windows could read tags very fast, but tag lib is too slower comparably.<br>I would be appreciate if you could suggest ways to boost the performance.</span><br></div>
