<p>Arguably, that is an instance of bad style in the code, but I wonder why it causes an error with your compiler. (In essence, the compiler seems to think there is some way to end the function without "returning" a value. But clearly, there is not. Which compiler/version is this?).</p>
<p>Anyway, you can probably help your compiler along by replacing the file rkward/plugin/rkcomponent.cpp with this version, here: <a href="https://sourceforge.net/p/rkward/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/rkward/rkward/plugin/rkcomponent.cpp?format=raw">https://sourceforge.net/p/rkward/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/rkward/rkward/plugin/rkcomponent.cpp?format=raw</a></p>
