I did a successful compile / install on hardy with the 'Rdevices.h'
commented out. Haven't tried on intrepid and won't be able to until the
end of the week - but it probably won't be needed by then.<br>

Yes, this has an easy fix, as Thomas ('tfry') suggested. The fix has
been comfirmed to work on openSuSE. It might soon be commited to SVN
and hopefully the Ubuntu repos will get the fix from their maintainers
too.
