Here's my tl;dr post
Since rekonq is a web browser I'd rather have stuff made in HTML5 and/or CSS, instead of Plasma.Even if plasma kpart bring in tighter KDE integration to rekonq's home page, i'm sure the same thing can be done with HTML5/CSS, and seeing how we can easily take up stuff from the new KDE theme Chihuahua, i'm not really in the favour of doing this via plasma kpart.Hooking up GHNS with CSS theming should be relatively simple as well.

Hi,

I've just read an idea to integrate plasma in rekonq for the GSoC [1]. I though this had been discussed and we had decided not to implement this (I personally added the feature to our last meeting's agenda [2], but I couldn't assist so I might be wrong).

If this is really a GSoC idea we all agree on, I'd like to apply for it. I'm very interested in plasma integration and I think it would greatly improve rekonq, so please tell me if I should prepare a proposal :)
