Kickoff with keyboard only: My "fix" for Bug 276932
created Bug
297842 in KDE 4.8.x (x >= 2).

KDE 4.9.0 doesn't YET suffer from 297842, because I didn't remember
to apply the 4.8 fix for 276932 to Trunk before 4.9 was branched.
(Yes, I am Clueless.)
4.9.0 does suffer the old 276932 problem, and if the old Patch is
applied (unchanged) then it will create bug 297842.

The following possibilities arise:

(1) If we have ongoing support for 4.8, then I need to create and
apply a small fix for #297842 (within 4.8). I would then like to
apply separate fixes for Trunk and 4.9 - the "just one thing wrong"
Patch for Bug 276932 first, and then the new Patch (297842 fix)
immediately after. (Minutes apart.)

(2) At slightly higher risk, I can apply the small Patch for 4.8,
and one 'Combined Fix' 4.9 and Trunk fix for both problems at once.

(3) If support for 4.8 has ended (with 4.8.5), then just the one
"Combined" Fix for both problems.
Please advise how I should proceed. Thanks!
