</div></div>if you can't find a way around it, either restarting kdm (/etc/init.d/xdm<br>
restart) will do, or killing X (ctrl + alt + backspace twice).<br>

That's the axe method, it'll work but isn't beautiful and might cause data<br>
loss. Close all apps first if you go this way.<br>
