this is a reminder to *please* use the keywords "FEATURE", "BUG" and<br>
"IMPROVEMENT" in your commit messages for changes that meet those criterion.<br>

it's a new thing, so it'll take time for everyone to start doing it out of<br>
habit. right now, it isn't happening at all, though. the changelog is going to<br>
suck if we don't start using those tags.<br>
