Now I remember installPackage is used to install plasmoid from local file. <br><br>I can use plasmodviewer to run installed google gadgets but they just don't show up in the "Add Widget..." dialog.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

</div></div>now i'm not really sure about the package handling classes, so i can't say<br>
exactly why two really similar registerpackage and installpackage exist.<br>
but installpackage is used by openwidgetassistant.cpp in te applet browser so<br>
that one should work?<br>
