[Feature request] A touch layout option for Application launcher

The current layout of Application launcher is perfect for use with a mouse
or touchpad.
However when it comes to tablets or monitors with touch option, it gets a
little hard to use.
A layout where "all applications" are in grid and can be scrolled
(continously) with touchpad gestures(eg two finger scrolling), or screen
gestures can be very useful.
I know this will be a more "Simple" approach which may not match kde's
"feature rich" spirit.

My ideal menu would look like the attachment below (from arcmenu-gnome). A
search, app grid, (and maybe session buttons)
