sounds good, particularly if the plugins would be written in a scripting 
language for quick and easy updates.

i'd also recommend, if you haven't already thought of it (you probably have 
:), moving the clipboard handling out of the widget and into the dataengine as 
well. that way it can be hidden more easily behind an async Plasma::Service?
