well, i'm only 3354 km away. ;) same country though, and convenient flights. 
beginning of oct is still open for me schedule-wise as well. there are lots of 
great projects available in Plasma for varying levels of experience, 
expertise, time allowance, interest, etc. so we should be able to send a few 
options along and we should be able to provide mentorship as well.
