Video Snapshot with gstreamer backend

Hi,

I had asked this question in #kde-multimedia, since I did not get any
replies I am posting this  here.

Looking into videowidget.cpp for gstreamer backend code
VideoWidget::snapshot() has a #if macro that checks for version 0.10.31
#if GST_CHECK_PLUGINS_BASE_VERSION(0,10,31)

Is it not possible to have snapshot using higher versions of gstreamer?
