<br>Hi !<br>It's my first post to a mailing list so i hope i didn't make any big mistake...<br><br>I don't know if this idea has ever been discussed, but i think it could be interesting to <br>mix the kickoff menu with its alternative, the simple menu, in the applications tab. By doing<br>
this, the favorites and applications tabs could live in the same one.<br><br>In fact, i like kickoff, but i'm often lost while browsing the applications tab, with several<br>forwards and backwards actions.<br><br>So here is a preview (sorry, it's ugly) of what kickoff fusion could be ;)<br>

the usabitlity, it could be implemented some 'locks' :<br><br>- To lock a category :<br>click a category ('utilities' for example) and the selection is locked and categories above and <br>below won't change, only its subcategory (the child) is available.<br>
<br>- To unlock : <br>click again but anywhere in the parent panel<br><br>Is it clear enough ? :) <br>And what do you think about it ? :)<br><br>Thanks for all the work you've done so far...<br>
