Dear developers, <br><br>I submitted my patch. I first tested it by make the center grow 2 pixels on each side. This worked fine for the digital clock but not the dictionary and Hardware Monitor applets. It seems the thickness of the transparent area is determined by the size of the svg file, so I left my patch the same.
