which would open up the possibility? splitting the built-in runners into 
plugins? or splitting out the threading bits? it's hard to know what you are 
refering to when you top-post like this =/

(as a personal request (so ignore it if you will) ... if people would consider 
not top-post when replying but instead reply in-line and remove the rest of 
the email they aren't replying, i could follow the conversation much more 
easily and save everyone some time and energy... it would be appreciated by 
me at least =)

back to the issue at hand ... i'd love to see kickoff's search support using a 
subset of the runners. it probably won't be that hard to do either.

kickoff itself needs a lot of UI love, too.
