Same is for sure valid for anybody else who was working on it. So, see it as 
first step and feel free to make it better (what shouldn't be that difficult) 
by replacing it or extending it or xyz-ing it  => let's try to achieve 
world-domination with KDE 4.1 and not with 4.2 or later.
