Hi!

First, your project look  very interesting! KDE need this to continue to stay 
ahead!

Second, I'm not subscribed to the list. I do not have the time to participate 
for the moment. Sorry about that...

I was just wondering what you have as base requirements for the new desktop? I 
can not seem to find that information on the web site.
- do you have any speed requirements? Both on the underlying HW and on the 
expected execution speed of the desktop?
- are there requirements on scalability from handhelds to workstations?
- are you considereing having accelerated graphics hw as a requirement? 
OpenGL?
- what about voice control? Both for the handicaped and for other environments 
where keyboard/mouse is a no go?

I belive that some of the above points are important to consider for a 
visionary desktop for the future.
