<div>Hello OC devs,</div><div>š</div><div>šI'm the primary developer on an internal web software suite, and I was considering providing access to user files through ownCloud (as well as through our current file viewer).</div><div>š</div><div>Currently, both our app, and the web software utilise LDAP as an authentication backend. They also both run as the same user (www-data).</div><div>š</div><div>I'd like to know if it's "safe" to simply create a directory for them, and to write to owncloud/files/<USERID>/<software suite name>/</div><div>š</div><div>Will that cause any problems within owncloud? I'm worried that perhaps owncloud keeps track of which files were uploaded via web interface, or via client.</div><div>š</div><div>Cheers,</div><div>Eric Rasche</div><div>š</div><div>Programmer II</div><div>Center for Phage Technology</div><div>Texas A&M University</div>
