<p>thanks for your answer. Unfortunately its still strange to me.</p>
<p>The proxy is working fine when I use it with crome or firefox browser on the same machine (also replaying to telnet...), just the owncloud client is not.</p>

<p>When I re-start the owncloud client I can see on the server side (where the proxy is running) that the owncloud client is starting a request on the Proxy Port (3128):</p>

The log you sent in the other mail tells us that there is an "Unknown
Network Error" reported by the underlying system. Not sure what that
means in your case.
Guesses: Maybe you have a firewall not allowing the port to the proxy?
