Each time I start my computer I get a big Owncloud splash screen and
a message that now we are syncing. Thats quite invasive and annoying
- my mind should not always be on owncloud even though it might be
running.<br>
The most elegant services are the ones you don't notice unless you
need them.<br>
<br>
My suggestions:<br>
<ul>
<li>Remove the splash - The program starts quickly enough and
might not even be started by intent since it's supposed to work
like a daemon.</li>
<li>Tell us if a new file was synced into the folder, but not that
syncing started.</li>
