Hi,<br>
for OS X and iOS you need a special address. You should take a look
at <a href="http://owncloud.org/support/usage/contacts/">http://owncloud.org/support/usage/contacts/</a>
, to learn more about setting up carddav on os x.<br>

<pre wrap="">In my case I am migrating from Apple Address Book on my Mac. But when
I try to add the CardDAV account stated in my ownCloud Contacts app, I
get an error in Address Book saying:
"Address Book couldn't discover the account settings for the CardDAV
server <a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="https://[mydomain]/owncloud/apps/contacts/carddav.php/addressbooks/[myusername]/default">"https://[my
domain]/owncloud/apps/contacts/carddav.php/addressbooks/[my
username]/default"</a>. Make sure the user name and server address are
correct, then click Create."
I am running Apple Address Book on Mac OS X 10.6.8, can anyone help
with this? Thanks.

AFAIR when I last played with owncloud, I added the empty owncloud
addressbook to my contacts app (kaddressbook in my case) and moved
with drag & drop the list of my existing contacts to owncloud.
