            Bug ID: 470481
Summary: Wish: Option to edit multiple comments at once
    Classification: Applications
           Product: okular
           Version: 23.04.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: okular-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: mario.schaedel at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
It would be great to have an option to edit multiple comments at once, as it is
possible in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

BACKGROUND
Sometimes there is the need to have a different author name for the annotations
in a PDF file (e.g. for an anonymous peer review document) . If you plan ahead,
Okular already has you covered, as you can easily change the author name in the
"Configure Okular" dialog. However, it happens that one does not plan ahead and
has already created numerous comments, that then need to be modified. Currently
this is only possible to do for each annotation individually, which can result
in a lot of work depending on the amount of annotations. Adobe Acrobat Reader
has implemented the option to edit multiple comments at once in the desktop
application (which is what I ended up using as a workaround).

As it is already possible to delete multiple annotations at once, I assume it
should not be too difficult to implement this feature. Okular is already the
most feature-rich PDF viewer in the Linux realm and this feature would remove
another of the very few reasons to use the Adobe counterpart instead.

OBSERVED RESULT
When selecting and right-clicking multiple comments in the left "Sidebar" under
the "Annotations" tab, the only option that appears is to delete multiple
comments.

EXPECTED RESULT
When selecting and right-clicking multiple comments in the left "Sidebar" under
the "Annotations" tab, there is an additional option "Properties" (just as when
selecting only one comment).
