You can upgrade to the fixed version, which was released a few days ago.

If your distro isn't shipping the fixed version yet, you can (in ascending
order of difficulty) use the Flatpak or Snap versions of Okular instead, or
build it from source on your own computer, or use a different distro that ships
updated software more quickly.
