            Bug ID: 433447
Summary: Easier way to set arbitrary number of pages in one row
                    under the overview mode
           Product: okular
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: okular-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: smihael at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently, Okular shows a fixed amount of pages in one row when using Overview
mode.

Having to set the number of columns to a fixed value is limiting. As pointed
out at
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1098265/okular-set-arbitrary-pages-in-one-row-under-the-overview-mode
zooming out, the pages will shrink in place. The number of pages in row stays
same, with more padding between thumbmails.

It would be nice to have an option (maybe even as another view mode), where the
number of pages in one row tries to minimize the padding given zoom level.
