Hmm, intuitiveness doesn't seem relevant here and responsiveness is typically a
factor of performance and animation easing curves, which also aren't factors
here.

When you say "efficient", do you mean that the scroll speed is effectively
faster because each scroll "tick" moves down by three pages rather than one?
