I think i accidentally reproduced the bug. I had previously backed up my pdf
file. I remember that when i downloaded the original pdf file from web (without
any annotations) it was of size 50 MB. Also my backedup up pdf file (with
annotations) is around 67 MB. So no after downloading the backed up file(67 MB)
i started adding annotations in it. When this file reached around 67.8 MB i
clicked Ctrl+S to save the file. But for some reason my Ubuntu 18.04 started
freezing and the file was not saved(which i can see from the * shown at the
top). So i had to close okular midway with unsaved changes. Next, after
closing okular i tried to open the pdf but to my surprise when the pdf opened,
all of its pages were blank. The second thing i noticed was that the same pdf
was now of size 50MB instead of 67MB. So i do not know why the pdf got smaller
in size(around its original size) and had all of its pages blank. This could be
the fault of freezing up of the PC or an okular bug. I have no idea. Maybe if
there's a way to debug okular so that i can see what happens when i click
Ctrl+S , that can shed some light on this. Is there a way to use okular from
command line. I know that i can use the command okular somedpdf.pdf to open the
pdf in okular. But this command does not give much info about what happens when
i click Ctrl+S.
