I personally don't see the lack of editing as a problem: the initial
description does not need to be changed for a tracker bug like this.

Also, as this is a tracker, it should simply depend (not "see also") on all
the relevant bugs.

Another possible way could be requesting the creation of a custom keyword, but
that would be potentially used by other projects too and I fear it may not be
accepted if its usage is going to be really project-specific.

That would be a task to organize the work; but if you want to organize the
bugs, there are other ways.

(please note that bugzilla allows the editing of the description field; it's a
per-deployment choice.)

That said, this is just a general suggestion; let's hear from the active
developers.
