Hi Kevin,

I reviewed the code changes and tested your patch with my test documents. 

PDF is ok.

PS prints ok but the landscape document is not detected as landscape. So the
Bug won't be visible. This have to be checked if it is caused by the changes in
the document orientation code.

DVI fails to print and to render in okular, but I think this is another bug.

I'll attach the test files.
