It would be better if Neon packages were installed in it's own
</div>
<div>
directory, /opt/neon for example.
</div>
<div>
When it's installed globally, it breaks some dependencies and doesn't
</div>
<div>
allow installing some Qt apps from Ubuntu repos.
</div>
<div>
Installing Neon to it's own independent directory would allow to persist
</div>
<div>
two Qt libs versions at same time (one from Ubuntu repos and one from

Neon repos).

I've posted it in KDE bugtracker a year ago (

in 18.04 version of Neon the problem still exists: for example, I

Why add the extra complication of such a setup, just to be able to install very old, outdated versions of software from Ubuntu's Universe component(1)? In the case of Telegram, two years and countless releases behind.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
Most people likely prefer newer versions of these things, and will add the sources or packages needed to get them.
