i've been a "happy" kubuntu user for several users<br>
especially coming (or escaping) from the windows' world.<br>

i use Kate as the default editor but i sorely miss one feature
of VS and VS Code:<br>
namely, <b>ctrl-c to copy the entire current line without
having to select it.</b><br>
i've searched for potential plugin that would do this but to no
avail.<br>

i would attempt to write one if only there was a good sample to
follow.<br>
please advise and thank you for any guidance.<br>
