Hi all,

I'm okay with relicensing any of my code in KTextEditor and Kate as LGPLv2+.

Betreff: KTextEditor & Kate Licensing

Hi,

more than 80% of KTextEditor and Kate are LGPLv2+.

We would like to equalize the licensing of all files.

Would you be ok to re-license your contributions to LGPLv2+?
By "accident" some files were just v2 since some years :/

A simple reply to this mail is enough for this.
(please add kwrite-devel@kde.org to CC)

This would make maintaining KTextEditor & Kate in in future much
easier, given the rise of more and more incompatible licensing schemes
everywhere. My fault for adding the "only v2" clause to a lot of files
10 years ago :/

Greetings
Christoph
