<p>Now, the "modified label" behaves like a button but with no visible action when it is clicked. Two general observations:</p>

<li class="remarkup-list-item">In "unedited" state the purpose is (still) hard to guess from the icon (and there is the convention of not having tooltips for the status bar which requires a creative solution).</li>
<li class="remarkup-list-item">In "modified" state it would be cool to be able to click to save the document</li>
