I am working on .rc files used by KXMLGUI on Kate originally build with kdesrc-build and installed <br>
in a directory in my home directory which is separeted from the system-wide KDE installation.<br>

Now, even after system restart, when I start /usr/bin/kate, some of the menu changes of the <br>
development version appear in the menu. Is there a kind of menu cache that has gotten affected? If <br>
yes, can it be cleared?<br>
