Thanks for the information. I have attempted to compile a number of qt
based programs (eg Kdeextragear) and they all have crashed in the same
manner. I have downloaded the libqt-mt rpm and forced and update but to
no success. I am in two minds to upgrade KDE to the newest version or
attempt to find all the rpms and source and recompile the lot.<br><br>

Looks like something is broken with your setup, since qt complains about
<br>
missing symbols. I guess you can't compile other kde/qt programs,
too.<br>
