 Hi all,

recently several bugs have been reported to the version 0.3.7 of
KTechLab, some of which should be easy to fix. I'm thinking that in
the middle of January, when I will have time for it, to try to
incorporate the fixes for the reported stuff into a new version,
0.3.8, just for maintenance purposeses.

I'm listing the bug reports below.

------------

Summary: gcc 4.5 and small build system corrections for 0.3.7

Initial Comment:
Hallo, I tried to compile ktechlab 0.3.7 in openSUSE Build-System and
found some minor problems.
My knowledge of C++ is limited, so hopefully I did not do something wrong.

gcc-4.5-patch: Changed som QPixmap::QPixmap() -> QPixmap()
doubled mentioning of files: for.png, while.png are mentioned 2 times
in the Makefile, that gives on some distros install errors.
a missing dependency for logic.cpp makes build process fail sometimes
on some distros.

I added a patch for this three issues.

Thank you for your good work on ktechlab. I do use it at school a lot.

Bye,
Frank

Summary: Forward voltage drop for LEDs

Initial Comment:
In KTechLab all LEDs in a circuit have a forward voltage drop around
0.7 V. So they have the same behaviour as standard diodes.
But most LEDs available have a forward voltage drop around 1.5 to 2 V.
So the measuring results differ from the results KTechLab presents.
Can you change the forward voltage drop of LEDs to the correct value
or - even better - make it adjustable?

We need to check why the model of the diode doesn't react to the "Is"
and "N" model parameters...

---------------------

We need to clarify the situation with XOR gates having 3+ inputs... I
know this has been discussed on the list, but it should be either
documented, or better, make it switchable.

-----------------------

Finally, there is a weird crash, that probably will qualify as "won't
fix", because it's random, and probably starts from a very subtle and
difficult to debug problem.
