I think I am closer to understanding why some things in ktechlab go
crazy. There is some kind of race condition or uninitialized variable or
something that causes my DAC to go crazy one out of three times it loads.

Usually it works just fine, but when it breaks, it still basically works
but there is a random set of "deadly bits" which cause the voltage to go
haywire, sometimes being off by as much as several hundred volts... (it
should be locked to the range between 0 and 5 volts...) Might be an
issue with LogicConfig or the underlying calculation engine, the buggy
one that I wrote.....) Anyway, ktechlab isn't going to work until this
is fixed. =\

There's also a bit of distortion around zero crossing (several bits
above and below), that I don't understand at all...
