Have a look at the instructions at the bottom of

http://ktechlab.org/download/subversion.php

These will ensure that you are using the latest sources (where the bug might 
have been fixed), and also give the configure option for enabling debugging 
"./configure --enable-debug=full").

Then, if it still crashes, then send the crash backlog (when Dr Konqui the 
crash handler) pops up.
