After several errors and challenges, I managed to successfully build KStars on Windows! Basically, this means now KStars can be used on Windows, along with its entire functionality. </span><span style="color: rgb(55, 62, 77); font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(254, 254, 254);" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462911464987_3030">Furthermore, for a better and authentic look, I included KStars' custom icons.
