Problems with KStars 3.5.7 on macOS

Another problem that really bothers me is that I frequently get windows brought up behind other windows.  For example, I was just deleting a profile in Ekos.  It didn’t delete it and was mystified.  However,  I later found an alert behind the Ekos windows asking “Are you sure you want to delete the profile?”.  Why did this not display on top?  

Another example is that the Ekos window is always floating above the KStars window.  Ideally, the two windows should be independent of each other and you should be able to toggle between them.  Is there some hack to make this possible?
