Broken Kstars v3.5.0-beta "empty sky"

I suspect the "FocusDec=nan" line. It looks like somehow your focus got
into a weird state. I recommend that you could try replacing that line with
"FocusDec=0" and see if you can reuse your old config without losing your
settings. Either that or the encoded State which I know nothing about :)
