<p>The issue is that ASCII file don't support quantity and we haven't thought through what a label should be with units and not quantity.</p>
<p>What is quantity? Imagine a label which is</p>
<p> Speed [m/s]</p>
<p>Speed is the quantity and m/s is the units.</p>
<p>So: what should the label be for a plot with fields P, Q and R and units 'meters' and legends turned off?</p>

<p>Or</p>
<p>Y: meters<br>
Top: P, Q and R</p>
