case and I can't really see why that's needed. I find it very confusing, and
have seen other people stuggle with that. Plus, it comes pretty bad in the way
of some other things (like the color per file tool). So I'm wondering: can't we
change that now that kst2 is still fresh and young and we are not so much bound
by user habits?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

vector, and that the creation of a derived curve be optional (which it is not
really right now, you *<b><span style='font-weight:bold'>have to</span></b>*
create a curve, the only thing you can do is not to put it in any plot). We
could add somewhere a "Create curve" checkbox that toggles activation
of the bottom part of the dialog (from selection of the X vector down to curves
properties and placement).<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
